Patchwork laptop case – finished

Patchwork case for an Apple MacBook

A quick post to show the now finished laptop case.  Daughter No 3 used big press studs with a brass finish for closing. She hasn’t used these before so we’re interested to see how well they perform.

The last apple has fallen from our ancient apple tree but the leaves are holding on tenaciously.

Will post again later on today to show another Fair Isle cardigan.

That’s a great finish. I hope it performs as well as it looks!

Yes, it will have to stand up to hard wear in foreign places.

The case is really beautiful! Thanks for sharing a photo of it. I recently found a single bed quilt from the 40s with a lot of purple in it and like your case, it stands out beautifully. Not a color I would normally use, but I’m now inspired to use it more.

I know just what you mean about the purple – we agreed we wouldn’t normally go for it but sometimes it just looks right.
